In contemplation of the Light is the Kingdom
the Divine is in the illumination
but not as an object to be seen
rather
God is the experience of seeing with Light
we don't see God
we experience Him when seeing with Light

there is Light
below the level of consciousness
that draws us to the Divine
it is the Light that resides in man
by virtue of being created
in the image of his Maker
and the Earth itself
in some sacred places
is so saturated with that Divine Light
that there even Angels are drawn
and in the Light may communicate with man
Man himself by intently clinging to the forces
of Spiritual Life
may transfigure his psychic nature
such that Light goes forth from him
into the world
"Behold the Kingdom of Heaven is all around you"

darkness...
form without content
shadow without substance
inhabiting secret corners and crevices
an elusive influence
spinning webs of deception
power by suggestion
but all the while
taunted by its own shadow reality
merely a memory of its former being
darkness laments, raves and rages
but already a hollow echo
receding
fading, fading
gone...
